Underground Hair Artists is located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, It has an urban city fashion forward atmosphere with chromed mirrors,cork flooring,high gloss cabinets and glitter chairs dominated by a newspaper mural that encompasses the whole back wall of the salon by Hollywood artist Jean Dentzel.
The theme is taken from the London Underground where the owners Fay Doe and her husband Tony Doe hail.The concept of the Underground Hair Artists is a play on words combining Fays love for making art from hair and an Underground movement being something a little different from the norm.
Underground hair artists vision is to provide the highest quality haircare,skincare and nail services in a relaxed, professional atmosphere for both clients and staff to enjoy.
Underground attracts a varied clientele due to the highly skilled staff abilities to accommodate styles from simple classical to commercial runway looks and on occasion Avant-Garde when desired.
